Role Location:
Due to the nature of the work, this role will require regular weekly visits to our customers sites in Bristol and/or Corsham.
The Opportunity
As a Solutions Architect working on a range of Software, Infrastructure & Network Solutions, you will take a leading role in the delivery team, from defining/assessing high level technical architectures to managing relationships with our customers and taking accountability for delivering projects to agreed timelines. You will oversee the full project lifecycle including project concept formalisation; requirements analysis and specification; architecture design; Infrastructure / software implementation and delivery; training and support and maintenance. Key responsibilities include:
- Drafting technical Statements of Requirements for networks, applications and platform solutions
- Defining and assessing technical architectures, solutions & business requirements
- Production of high- and low-level technical & operating model designs
- Providing consultancy support to customers, assisting them with technology choices and solutions to complex problems
- Using a wide range of technologies, specialising in the use of open-source libraries and components
- Deploying software systems to a mixture of environments including public (AWS and Azure) and private cloud
- Managing relationships with our customers
- Ensuring your knowledge and professional development keeps pace with an everchanging technology landscape
- Providing leadership and support to delivery team members as required
- Creating technical statements of requirements for cloud native applications and platform solutions.
- Design and Implementation of solutions to support digital transformation and the modernisation of IT Infrastructure and services
- Leading enterprise architecture planning and strategy.
- Production of high & low level technical designs.
- Taking accountability for key project deliverables.
- Leading technical engagement with senior users / customers.
