With a focus on creating and enhancing operational solutions and processes to be scalable, efficient, and reliable, the Defined Benefit Consultant Solution Architects support the day-to-day business operations and priorities within Defined Benefit. They are valued team members supporting Defined Benefit Operations project, initiative, and ad-hoc client work within the Defined Benefit Solution Architect team.
The Expertise And Skills You Bring
- Bachelors degree (or equivalent years of experience) and at least five years of Defined Benefit technology, operations and/or implementation related experience in the HR outsourcing industry
- Three plus years of demonstrated ability consulting with clients on Defined Benefit product and service design including large complex plans
- Analytical, consultative, and problem-solving skills
- Strong knowledge of Defined Benefit industry trends and the ability to apply this knowledge to client work
- Detailed knowledge of relationship management, benefits administration, business processes, and record-keeping
- In depth knowledge of Fidelity’s Defined Benefit end-to-end product and service offerings
- Understanding of Fidelity’s Defined Benefit system technology including standard methodologies and limitations
- Ability to collaborate with internal and external teams and interface effectively within and across organizations
- Knowledge of testing processes and methodologies
- Solid grasp of MS Office suite of products
- Proficient in data structures and query languages
- Knowledge of JIRA and Agile methodologies

Fidelity’s Onsite Working Model
Fidelity is transitioning to a full-time onsite working model through a phased rollout across regions and roles. Currently, some roles and locations require 100% onsite presence, while others require less. Onsite expectations are likely to evolve as the rollout continues. This transition does not apply to fully remote roles.
