Implementation Specialist – Shopware UK Ltd (onsite, permanent role)

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled, motivated, and customer-centric individual to join our Manufacturing Execution System (MES) team based in our Worcester office. In this role, you will be responsible for building strong client relationships, leading end-to-end project implementations, and driving the continuous improvement of the Shopware software solution with the aim to improve our clients’ manufacturing operations. You will work closely with customers on-site and remotely to understand their operational challenges, plan strategic roadmaps, and execute projects that advance them to manufacturing excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Client Engagement & Partnership: Build and nurture lasting relationships with current and future clients. Empathise with their operational pain points and collaborate directly with shop floor and management teams to formulate tailored solutions.
• Project Implementation: Plan, manage, and execute digital transformation projects from initial scoping through to deployment and go-live.
• Solution Architecture: Utilise the Shopware suite of modules as a powerful toolbox to design simple, elegant, and effective digital solutions hat streamline processes and drive efficiency.
• System Installation & Support: Lead and execute system setup, installation, user onboarding, and ongoing user assistance to ensure high adoption rates and client satisfaction.
• Data Management: Assist clients in managing and analysing data collected by Shopware, ensuring accuracy and integrity. Develop reports and provide insights to improve operational efficiency, quality, and productivity.
• Operational Excellence: Apply lean manufacturing methodologies to help clients eliminate waste, digitise manual processes, and elevate shop-floor performance.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for improving our internal processes and the functioning of Shopware.

• Manufacturing & Lean Knowledge: A deep passion for contributing to the manufacturing sector, with a firm understanding of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodology.
• Communication & Project Management: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage timelines, communicate effectively across all organisational levels, and guide clients through change.

The following skills will be an advantage. However, these skills can be learned within the Shopware environment. We are looking for a willingness to learn with the necessary base competence.

- Technical skills and proficiency in SQL Server and the .NET framework.

- Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, shop floor control, and data integration between various systems (e.g., ERP, SCADA).

A bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field will be beneficial.
