Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Min 5%)
- Manage the development and deployment of ETL, Application Integration, Microservices Framework code and contribute to the overall architecture of the Data Integration & Application Development Landscape.
- Work with teams to design, develop, and implement new interfaces between various Tractor Supply systems. This also includes maintenance and improvement of existing interfaces or capabilities.
- Allocate resources and supervise direct reports.
- Hire, develop, and motivate assigned staff.
- Review and analyze existing applications and system effectiveness and efficiency.
- Develop strategies to improve or leverage systems.
- Research and make recommendations on software products and services in support or procurement and development efforts.
- Assess and cultivate long-term strategic goals for area of responsibility in conjunction with department managers, clients, and other key stakeholders.
- Work directly with Enterprise architecture team to develop and manage all data quality and transformation standards.
- Accountable for microservice tools development and maturation.
Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Systems Design, Computer Science, or related field will be considered. Any suitable combination of education and experience will be considered.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills Or Abilities
- Comprehensive knowledge of Java, Containers, ETCL and/or ESB technologies such as Informatica, TIBCO, Talend, SAP, IBM, WSO2 or equivalent.
- Technical leadership, mentoring team members, and leading projects.
- Superior ability to manage teams.
- Negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to develop completely new problem-solving approaches and formulate innovative solutions.
- Demonstrate collaboration skills with the ability to handle conflict and to work with a distributed team.
