🚀 We’re hiring a Forward Deployed Engineer / Solutions Architect at Talonic!

At Talonic, we turn unstructured documents: from scanned engineering diagrams to handwritten forms into schema-validated, queryable data. We built the platform, co-authored DIN SPEC 91491 (Europe's first standard for AI-generated data structures), and power production systems for energy, pharma, automotive, and logistics leaders.

We’re a high-impact team of 13. Every deal we sign is deeply technical, and every customer comes to us with a document challenge nobody else could solve.

That’s where you come in.

What the Role Looks Like You’ll take customer problems from the very first call all the way to a live, running system. You won’t just be handed Jira tickets—you’ll be given a complex problem, a customer, and our platform, and be empowered to own the delivery end-to-end.

What You’ll Do

• Solve Real Business Problems: Lead customer workshops to unpack messy real-world processes and map out data models.
• Build & Integrate: Design schemas, build extraction pipelines, and connect downstream layers into systems like SAP, Dynamics, or Snowflake.
• Deploy Next-Gen Tools: Build custom agents and MCP integrations.
• Ship Production-Grade Tech: Prototype rapidly using AI tooling, then harden and scale what survives contact with production.
• Be the Technical Face: Serve as the trusted technical lead for major enterprise accounts.

Who You Are

• You’re a builder who leverages agentic coding tools effectively, with deep technical roots in backend, data modeling, systems, ML, or engineering.
• You possess strong product instinct and can easily guide a room full of enterprise stakeholders, IT security teams, or skeptical CFOs.
• You care deeply about reliability, finishing what you start, and shipping robust solutions.
• Fluent in English (German is a strong plus for DACH accounts).

• Location: Berlin (Full-time)
• Comp: €80,000–€90,000 + meaningful equity
