Solution Architect – Hampshire

• £90,000-£94,000 Base Salary
• £790 per month car allowance + 16% Bonus
• Hybrid working

A Global organisation currently looking for a Solution Architect to join a growing technology function supporting large-scale R&D initiatives. This position will work closely with research, engineering and business teams to help modernise and enhance enterprise platforms used across scientific and operational environments.

The role will focus on shaping solution architecture across a range of modern enterprise and cloud-based platforms, helping deliver scalable, secure and integrated technology solutions. You’ll work across architecture strategy, technical design, integrations and platform roadmaps, partnering closely with Product Managers, Engineers and wider stakeholders.

Key experience required:

• Strong background with modern application architecture methodologies
• Proven solution architecture and enterprise systems experience
• Strong cloud experience (Azure or GCP preferred)
• API-first architecture and SaaS integration experience
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders
• Experience influencing technical roadmaps, architecture strategy and technology direction

Nice to have:

• Exposure to AI/ML or data-driven platforms
• Experience within highly regulated environments
• DevSecOps and modern software engineering practices
• Experience with containerisation, integrations or large-scale platform environments
