The Role
We are looking for a Solutions/Technical Architect who will provide technical oversight, solution design, and technical management for projects of a specific stack or technology domain for the entire project lifecycle from pre-sales, delivery, maintenance, and closure as well as building and innovating new practices and tools to build the capability of that technology or domain.
The Benefits
At Stratpoint, we enjoy the autonomy, lack of bureaucracy, and the freedom to experiment but without the chaos. We’re like a startup but with adult supervision.
You will be supported by capable management of HR, Finance and IT that adheres to the highest standards of integrity and good governance.
Hybrid is our mode of work, but when we need to come together, we have inviting open floor office spaces designed to spark gatherings, collaboration, and camaraderie.
Stratpoint employees enjoy:
- SSS, Pag-ibig and Philhealth benefits + company contribution
- a monthly miscellaneous allowance
- 13th month pay based on your monthly rate.
- Vacation and Sick leave
- Wellness programs such as Wellness Wednesdays
- HMO coverage
- Team buildings and quarterly events (company outings and festive celebrations for Chinese New Year, Valentines, Halloween and Christmas)
- And, friendly intramural competitions
Your Team
The candidate will report to the Service Delivery Manager and Head of Architecture Governance, collaborating with Technical Leads to address skill gaps and support needs. They will work with customers, vendors, and onshore teams to meet project success criteria and engage with technology partners like AWS, Google Cloud, and Microsoft.
Your Responsibilities
- Own technical delivery across managed services engagements — providing technical direction, assessing risk in proposed approaches, and balancing technical soundness with business/management priorities.
- Lead solution design and architecture — contributing to trade-off analysis, Architecture Decision Records, and delivery documentation (solution docs, estimations, timelines, diagrams), with senior mentorship as needed.
- Bridge presales to delivery — ensuring the solution scoped during presales carries through cleanly into implementation, and providing technical input into proposals, cost estimates, and client negotiations.
- Own day-to-day Operations, Maintenance & Support delivery — incident, problem, and change management across client environments, ensuring SLAs are met and operational/architectural risk stays visible and managed.
- Lead and quality-control distributed technical teams (L2/L3 engineers and SMEs), including mentoring, coaching, and technical people development — without requiring direct line-management authority over everyone involved.
- Maintain multi-cloud technical currency — tracking tooling, practices, and platform developments (a working "technology radar") to guide project teams on design, troubleshooting, and modernization decisions.
- Champion technical standards and continuous improvement — maintaining coding/technical compliance across projects and evaluating new tools, processes, and approaches.
- Represent technical delivery to stakeholders — communicating credibly from engineering-level detail up to CTO-level reporting.
About You
- BS degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or any related degree / vocational courses
- At least 5+ years of development experience.
- Strong Operations, Maintenance & Support background — hands-on experience running production cloud environments, SLA-driven delivery, and ITSM-aligned incident/problem/change management.
- Cloud Architect–level depth, with AWS as the primary platform (Well-Architected Framework, multi-account/multi-workload experience) plus working knowledge of at least one other major cloud provider (Azure, GCP, or Huawei Cloud).
- Prior experience in a Technical Account Manager, Cloud Architect, or Senior Cloud Operations role
- AWS certification preferred (Solutions Architect Professional, Security Specialty, or equivalent).
- Has experience with software development projects from start to completion (pre-sales to post-production and feature changes)
- Has hands-on programming skills in open-source technologies (e.g java, python, javascript etc.) as well as database design and administration.
- Excellent communicator; can comfortably deal with internal and external clients/stakeholders
