Cloud Solution Architect

We’re hiring a Cloud Solution Architect – Skype for Business (SfB) / Microsoft Teams for one of our key enterprise clients. This role is ideal for an experienced architect with deep expertise in enterprise voice, unified communications, and collaboration technologies, specialising in Skype for Business and Microsoft Teams solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, deployment, and optimisation of Microsoft Teams and Skype for Business environments
• Architect and deliver enterprise voice solutions including Teams Phone, Direct Routing, and Operator Connect
• Plan and execute migrations from Skype for Business to Microsoft Teams
• Design and implement unified communications and collaboration solutions aligned to business requirements
• Integrate Teams with telephony platforms, SBCs, contact centres, and Microsoft 365 services
• Provide technical leadership on governance, security, compliance, and user adoption strategies
• Troubleshoot complex voice, networking, identity, and collaboration challenges
• Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders on modern workplace and communications transformation initiatives

Key Requirements

• Experience delivering Skype for Business, Microsoft Teams, or Unified Communications solutions
• Strong expertise in Microsoft Teams Phone, Direct Routing, Operator Connect, and enterprise voice technologies
• Experience designing and delivering large-scale Teams migration programmes
• Knowledge of Session Border Controllers (SBCs) and PSTN connectivity
• Strong understanding of Microsoft 365, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Intune, and collaboration services
• Experience with voice networking concepts including SIP, QoS, DNS, and network optimisation
• Familiarity with security, compliance, and governance best practices within Microsoft 365
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and customer-facing consulting skills
• Self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently in complex enterprise environment
