What You'll Do
BCG is looking to provide innovative ways to support and improve our user experiences as they return to the office. The hybrid working team is tasked with solving several use cases to provide experience equality and inclusivity no matter if they are in the office or remote. This requires the ability to think outside the box, combine new and existing technologies together to create innovative and simple solutions.
In partnership with your team members, your duties will include:
- Working on designing and delivering technical solutions for several defined (and potentially undefined) use cases
- Leveraging existing technology within BCG and seeking out new technologies to aid with solution design
- Working closely with other squads in the Risk Product Team, as well as the Governance, Risk, and Compliance ensure any solutions are supportable and complement existing services within the business
- Working together with vendors on implementation, customization, future enhancements, and support matters for the tools for which you are responsible.
- Completing testing and support the creation of end user documentation
- Supporting other areas of BCG Risk Product team, or other Agile tribes, as needed
- Entrepreneurial and creative thinking to develop concepts and solutions to resolve the firm’s most challenging collaboration needs
- Strong comprehensive problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues quickly
- Working independently as well as part of a virtual, geographically dispersed team bringing a sense of urgency to the tasks at hand and on-time delivery
- Effectively handling difficult and stressful situations with poise, tact, and patience, while demonstrating a sense of urgency and empathy
- Strong analytical skills, detail-oriented, and quality-minded
- Working in an agile environment and using Jira to create, manage, and track stories, while following product delivery methodologies and principles, such as work estimation techniques
- Exceptional verbal and written communication and presentation skills
- 6-8 years of relevant work experience, including 4+ years of hands-on coding
- Knowledge of workflow and data tools
- Hands-on experience with AI and agentic AI
- Experience delivering technical solutions in an agile, product-driven environment (Jira or similar)
- Comfort adapting to new technologies, shifting requirements, and priorities
- Experience navigating complex, multi-vendor enterprise environments — spotting pain points and gaps, and driving solutions that make the team more efficient
- Understanding of the risk and compliance market
- Familiarity with platforms like Intapp and Auditboard
