Senior Java (Kotlin) Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer with strong expertise in Java and Kotlin to join our client's engineering team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend applications and contributing to the overall architecture and technical direction of the project.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java and Kotlin.
• Build scalable, reliable, and high-performance applications.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, and other team members.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical decision-making.
• Continuously improve application performance, reliability, and security.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional backend development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java and Kotlin.
• Solid experience with Spring Boot and the Spring ecosystem.
• Experience developing RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Good knowledge of relational databases and SQL.
• Experience with Git and modern software development practices.
• Understanding of unit and integration testing.
• Familiarity with Docker and CI/CD processes.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a distributed team.
