Job Title: PeopleTools Specialist

Location: 100% Remote (U.S.)

Position Type: Full-time, Direct W2

Salary Range: $100,000–$150,000 Annually

Experience Required: 6+ years

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced PeopleTools Specialist responsible for the architecture, installation, configuration, upgrade, and ongoing technical operation of enterprise PeopleSoft environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and support PeopleSoft environments
• Perform PeopleTools upgrades, PUM image applications, and patching
• Administer WebLogic, Tuxedo, Process Scheduler, Integration Broker, and application servers
• Manage Elasticsearch/OpenSearch for PeopleSoft
• Perform system refreshes, clones, migrations, and HA/DR activities
• Develop automation using Shell, Python, or Ansible
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and maintain technical documentation
• Mentor junior engineers and support production environments

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of PeopleSoft PeopleTools administration experience
• Hands-on experience with PeopleTools upgrades and PUM
• Strong knowledge of WebLogic, Tuxedo, Oracle Database, and Linux/Unix
• Experience with Elasticsearch/OpenSearch and PeopleSoft Cloud Manager
• Strong scripting, troubleshooting, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• PeopleSoft certifications
• Experience with OCI, AWS, or Azure
• Knowledge of Terraform, Ansible, CI/CD, and PeopleSoft Selective Adoption
