Title: QA / Test Automation
Location: Mineola, NY
Overview:
Ampcus is seeking an experienced Automation Tester with strong expertise in test automation, data validation, and Azure DevOps within the financial domain (mandatory). The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of financial systems, validating complex data workflows, and supporting cloud-based testing in an Agile/DevOps environment.
Required Qualifications:
- 8-12+ years of experience in QA Automation and Data Testing
- Mandatory experience in Financial Services / Banking domain
- Strong experience with automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright)
- Proficiency in programming languages (Java, Python, or JavaScript)
- Hands-on experience with SQL and database testing
- Experience with API testing (Postman, Rest Assured)
- Strong experience in ETL/Data Testing and data validation
- Hands-on experience with Azure Cloud services
- Experience with Azure DevOps (CI/CD pipelines)
- Familiarity with Git/version control systems
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
Key Responsibilities:
Proven experience in:
- Financial reconciliation and trial balance validation
- Data conversion testing and validation
Strong understanding of:
- Fund accounting principles
- Financial controls and compliance processes
