Opportunity Overview
Teradyne is seeking an Accounting Systems Analyst to join the Accounting Systems Group (ASG), a finance-facing team that serves as the service administrator and primary support partner for the Finance organization’s accounting systems needs. This role will support Oracle Fusion ERP and Oracle EPM applications, including EDMCS for chart of accounts governance, FCCS for consolidation and reporting, ARCS for reconciliations, EPBCS for planning, and Oracle Fusion General Ledger.
Finance is going live on Oracle Fusion consolidation modules beginning in July 2026, with additional migrations scheduled over 2027 (Oracle 11i to Fusion) and 2028 (Navision and Ax to Fusion). The analyst will play an important role in stabilizing the initial launch, supporting future deployments, and helping Finance users adopt standardized, well-controlled processes across the Oracle platform.
Oracle Fusion & EPM System Administration
- Provide day-to-day functional administration and finance user support for:
- Oracle Fusion General Ledger (GL)
- Oracle Enterprise Data Management Cloud Service (EDMCS)
- Financial Consolidation and Close System (FCCS)
- Account Reconciliation Cloud Service (ARCS)
- Enterprise Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service (EPBCS)
- Serve as a first-line support partner for Finance users by triaging questions, resolving issues, coordinating escalations, and communicating status through resolution.
- Manage and support application configurations, metadata, hierarchies, mappings, business rules, workflows, security roles, and service administration activities.
- Maintain chart of accounts structures and governance processes within EDMCS.
- Support Oracle Fusion go-live stabilization beginning in July 2026 and participate in future migration waves, including issue tracking, user readiness, testing, cutover support, and post-deployment hypercare.
- Investigate and resolve production incidents, user-reported issues, and system defects.
- Analyze root causes and implement corrective actions to prevent recurring issues.
- Support Oracle quarterly releases, patches, upgrades, regression testing, and change management activities.
- Maintain system documentation, support procedures, and knowledge articles.
- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities.
- Ensure data consistency across Oracle Fusion, FCCS, ARCS, EPBCS, and EDMCS environments.
- Monitor and validate integrations, data loads, consolidations, reconciliations, journal processing, and financial reporting outputs.
- Assist accounting users with financial reporting and reconciliation requirements.
- Provide enhanced support during month-end, quarter-end, year-end close, budgeting, forecasting, and major deployment periods.
- Gather, document, and analyze business requirements from Accounting and Finance stakeholders.
- Design and recommend system solutions to improve efficiency, controls, and user experience.
- Identify opportunities to automate, simplify, and standardize manual accounting and finance processes.
- Participate in system enhancement projects, implementations, and transformation initiatives.
- Translate finance process needs into clear system requirements, test scripts, training materials, and practical user guidance.
- Support compliance with SOX, external audit, internal control, and system governance requirements.
- Support user access management, role provisioning, periodic access reviews, and segregation of duties (SoD) considerations.
- Assist internal and external auditors by providing system documentation and evidence.
- Maintain accurate audit trails and system governance standards.
- Handle confidential financial, operational, and strategic information with the highest level of professionalism, discretion, and adherence to company policies, including information related to M&A, integrations, restructurings, forecasts, internal reporting, and other sensitive business initiatives.
- Exercise appropriate judgment when granting, reviewing, or supporting access to financial systems, reports, workflows, and data used by Accounting, Finance, and leadership teams.
- This position offers remote work flexibility. Occasional onsite attendance may be required for business meetings, training, project activities, or other critical business events.
- The role requires availability during key financial periods, including month-end, quarter-end, year-end closing, budgeting, forecasting, and major system deployments.
- Flexible working hours will be necessary to accommodate global business operations and support across different time zones.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Business, or a related field; accounting knowledge and an understanding of finance close processes are strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience supporting Oracle Fusion ERP, Oracle EPM applications, or comparable accounting and finance systems in a systems administration, business analyst, or finance systems support role.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines during critical finance cycles.
- Experience with process improvement, automation, ERP implementations, reporting, testing, training, and AI-enabled finance transformation is preferred.
- Ability to work effectively with global teams, support users across time zones, and provide calm, service-oriented support during high-pressure close and deployment periods.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise discretion, and handle sensitive financial information and strategic project data in a trusted role.
- Experience supporting confidential or high-priority business initiatives, such as M&A, system integrations, ERP migrations, finance transformation, or executive-level reporting, is preferred.
