About the Role

We are seeking a Project Executive with strong data center construction experience to oversee project delivery, lead client relationships, and support teams across multiple sites. The ideal candidate has previously worked for a general contractor or owner/developer and has managed large, complex data center builds from preconstruction through commissioning. This role provides strategic direction, drives project performance, and ensures that all project teams deliver high-quality, on-time, and on-budget results.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership and direction for data center construction projects throughout the full lifecycle.
• Serve as the primary client-facing executive, ensuring clear communication, strong relationships, and successful project outcomes.
• Oversee project budgets, schedules, contracts, and risk management at a portfolio level.
• Support and guide project managers, superintendents, and field teams to ensure consistency and quality across all scopes of work.
• Lead high-level coordination with design partners, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and company processes.
• Assist with preconstruction efforts, including estimating, planning, procurement strategies, and design review.
• Identify and resolve escalated project issues while driving continuous improvement in execution.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in construction management, including data center or mission-critical projects.
• Experience working for a general contractor or owner/operator with responsibility for large-scale project delivery.
• Strong understanding of civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical scopes.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to mentor and support multiple project teams.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and client-management abilities.
• Proficient with construction and project management software (Procore, MS Project, etc.).

Preferred

• Degree or diploma in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• Experience overseeing multiple simultaneous data center builds or large hyperscale programs.
• Professional certifications such as PMP, CCM, or equivalent (asset, not required).
