The role includes continuous monitoring of IT infrastructures, communication systems, servers, and core business applications, identifying real-time incidents, providing initial response, and escalating issues to the relevant professional teams.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor system availability, servers, networks, and critical applications.
- Identify incidents, alerts, and unusual system behavior in real time.
- Provide initial troubleshooting and escalate complex issues to the appropriate technical teams.
- Document incidents and actions in a ticketing system.
- Work according to defined procedures, workflows, and operational playbooks.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs.
- Familiarity with Windows Server environments.
- Ability to read logs and technical documentation in English.
- Relevant technical background, networking course, or military technical experience.
- Willingness to work in shifts, including night shifts.
- High level of responsibility, attention to detail, alertness, ability to follow procedures, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Basic SQL knowledge.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools such as PRTG.
- Basic understanding of PowerShell or Python.
- Previous experience in a NOC, monitoring center, technical support, or operations environment.
