Role Overview
This position is for a Senior IT Project Manager supporting the Power Generation Division (PGD) Engineering and Operations Support Services (EOSS) organization. The role is responsible for leading and coordinating enterprise-scale Operational Technology (OT) cybersecurity, resiliency, compliance, and infrastructure initiatives. The successful candidate will partner with multiple teams to deliver complex projects that improve the security, reliability, and resiliency of generation control systems and critical infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout of complex cybersecurity and technology projects.
- Develop and maintain integrated project schedules, budgets, risk registers, and resource plans.
- Coordinate activities across Operations, Engineering, IT, Cybersecurity, Compliance, E&C, and third-party vendors.
- Drive project governance processes, status reporting, and executive communications.
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops, design reviews, and implementation planning sessions.
- Identify project risks and dependencies and develop mitigation strategies.
- Track project scope, cost, schedule, and performance metrics.
- Support development of business cases, budget requests, and capital project justifications.
- Manage vendor engagements, contracts, statements of work, and project deliverables.
- Promote standardization, scalability, and repeatable execution processes.
Experience: 6-10 years of experience leading IT projects, managing cross-functional teams, and overseeing technical implementations.
Technical Skills: A strong understanding of project management tools such as JIRA, Trello, Confluence, and Azure DevOps is required. Experience leading M365 implementations (SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Power Platform) and knowledge of cloud-based collaboration tools are also necessary.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Agile project management, IT governance, financial forecasting, and strategic planning.
- Experience working in electric utility, power generation, critical infrastructure, or industrial automation environments.
- Familiarity with NERC CIP, industrial cybersecurity, SCADA systems, network infrastructure, and control systems.
- Experience managing enterprise cybersecurity, network, infrastructure, or Operational Technology initiatives.
