As part of this strategy, Commerzbank continues the expansion of its Digital Technology Center in Sofia, Bulgaria. We need motivated people who will join us on this journey and we are looking for a Business Analyst with German in our flexhub team.

We are Commerzbank's internal delivery capability – a team of engineers, architects, analysts and experts working directly with business units. Unlike external consultancies, we are colleagues who stay. Based in Frankfurt, Sofia, and Łódź, we drive high-priority initiatives while building internal expertise that lasts.

Your responsibilities would consist of:

• Facilitating cross-team workshops to align on shared domain models;
• Creating process maps and capability models for auditors;
• Partnering with business leaders to align IT investments with business value;
• Identifying systemic process inefficiencies and driving large-scale improvements;
• Gathering and documenting business requirements, processes, and workflows, producing BRDs, FRDs, use cases, and process flows;
• Communicating with stakeholders and serving as a liaison between business users, SMEs, developers, and testers to ensure expectations are understood and addressed;
• Validating solutions by participating in testing activities, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT), to ensure they meet business requirements and quality standards;
• Analyzing market, industry, and operational data to support decision-making, create reports, and provide insights for process improvement;
• Supporting projects by assisting in planning, scheduling, and execution, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of milestones.

The skills and experience we would like you to have:

• Supporting the elicitation, clarification, and structuring of business and system requirements.
• Communicating clearly in meetings and written formats; sharing information with team members.
• Using Jira to create, track, and update user stories, tasks, and issues.
• Quickly learning new tools, processes, and domains; adapting to changing project needs.
• Supporting the creation and refinement of user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Supporting the creation and refinement of user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Performing basic analyses of operational or business data to support decision-making
• Producing and maintaining structured documentation (e.g., process flows, requirement specs).
• Fluency in English and German – both written and spoken.
