Role Overview:

At HCLTech, we're looking for a skilled L2 Systems Engineer with strong expertise in Linux administration, automation, patch management, and infrastructure operations. If you're passionate about managing enterprise Linux environments and driving operational excellence through automation, we'd love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage, maintain, and support Linux server environments, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex Linux operating system and infrastructure issues.
• Execute OS patching, package deployments, and lifecycle management activities using deployment tools such as Red Hat Satellite.
• Implement and maintain security controls, vulnerability remediation, and compliance requirements.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts and Ansible playbooks to streamline operational activities.
• Monitor server performance and proactively address capacity and availability concerns.
• Administer backup and recovery processes to ensure business continuity.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and application teams to support operational and project requirements.
• Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and runbooks.
