Your Responsibilities
ADMIS seeking an experienced Application Support Analyst to join our Global Application Support team. This role provides follow-the-sun support for trading, post-trade, and operational applications used across our global business. The successful candidate will support mission-critical systems, ensure stability and performance, and work closely with internal teams and external vendors to deliver high-quality service to the business.
Application Support & Maintenance
- Support and administration of clustered and non-clustered Microsoft SQL Servers across all environments.
- Support and administration of multiple third party and in-house applications within a production setting.
- Provide Tier 1 to Tier 3 support for trading, market data, post-trade, and operational applications.
- Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and ensure timely resolution.
- Maintenance and support of FIX messaging interfaces.
- Manage incidents, service requests, and problems through the IT ticketing system, ensuring SLA compliance.
- Automate routine tasks and improve operational efficiency.
- Prepare and maintain technical and operational documentation.
- Assist with application release planning, deployment, and post-release validation.
- Assist with operational resilience and disaster recovery exercises.
- Create ad-hoc data queries for Clients, Management and Internal departments.
- Participate in service transition activities for new or enhanced applications.
- Preparing and maintaining environments for development, UAT or SIT use.
- Work closely with global development, settlement, treasury, trading platform support, infrastructure and IT teams.
- Liaise with software vendors and service providers to resolve issues and implement enhancements.
- Participate in IT and business meetings as required.
- Recommend best practices, process improvements, and opportunities for automation.
- Evaluate and test new technologies and applications relevant to trading and post-trade environments.
- Contribute to the global follow-the-sun support model, including occasional weekend/on-call coverage.
- Support additional projects and tasks assigned by the Manager.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience in a global financial services or FCM environment with understanding of the trade lifecycle especially exchange-traded derivatives, FX and equities.
- Experience supporting trading, order routing, clearing, or post-trade systems is preferred.
- Technical skills in MS-SQL Administration & T-SQL (stored procedures, queries, performance tuning). Strong troubleshooting and analytical abilities. You will need to be confident working in mission critical production environments.
- Strong scripting skills in any of the following Python, Powershell and Ruby.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate across global teams.

- MS SQL Enterprise and Standard server
- Post trade processing including STP and middle office functions.
- FIX and SWIFT message interfaces.

- Trading systems such as TT, Fidessa, CQG and Bloomberg
- JIRA & ServiceNow
- MS-SQL SSRS administration and report authoring
