As the senior representative of the organization in Colombia, this leader will be accountable for defining and executing the country strategy, accelerating revenue growth, strengthening executive customer relationships, and building a high-performance culture across sales, delivery, and operations.
This role requires a highly energetic, commercially driven, and influential executive with a proven track record of leading large-scale technology businesses, managing strategic client portfolios, and delivering sustainable growth within global IT services and consulting organizations.
The Country Manager will work closely with regional and global leadership teams to ensure alignment with corporate priorities while adapting strategies to the local market landscape.
What You'll Do
- Own and drive the overall business performance of Colombia, including revenue growth, profitability, forecasting, budgeting, and operational excellence.
- Develop and execute the country growth strategy, identifying new market opportunities and expanding the company’s presence across key industries and accounts.
- Build trusted relationships with C-Level executives, becoming a strategic advisor capable of shaping transformational business and technology initiatives.
- Lead the sales organization and drive new business development, strategic account expansion, cross-selling, and upselling opportunities across the portfolio.
- Develop and implement account strategies focused on long-term customer value creation, retention, and profitable growth.
- Collaborate closely with delivery, operations, finance, HR, and regional leadership teams to ensure exceptional customer outcomes and execution excellence.
- Represent the company externally with customers, partners, industry associations, and key stakeholders while strengthening brand recognition in the market.
- Lead complex negotiations and strategic business discussions with enterprise and public-sector clients.
- Build, inspire, and develop high-performing teams, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and customer centricity.
- Drive operational rigor through effective business planning, pipeline management, forecasting accuracy, and performance management.
- Monitor market dynamics, competitive landscape, and technology trends to proactively identify growth opportunities and mitigate risks.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, corporate governance standards, and risk management policies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 12+ years of progressive leadership experience in sales, account management, business development, or general management roles within global technology, IT services, consulting, or digital transformation organizations.
- Proven track record of leading large commercial teams and consistently delivering revenue growth, profitability targets, and market expansion.
- Strong experience managing strategic enterprise accounts and engaging directly with C-Level stakeholders.
- Demonstrated success owning and managing full P&L responsibility within a complex business environment.
- Exceptional leadership, negotiation, communication, and executive presence skills.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to balance strategic thinking and operational execution.
- Experience building high-performance teams and developing future leaders.
- Deep understanding of the Colombian market and technology ecosystem.
- Results-oriented, entrepreneurial, resilient, and highly energetic leadership style.
- Continuous learner with strong knowledge of industry trends, emerging technologies, and digital transformation initiatives.
- MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Experience working across multicultural and matrixed global organizations.
- Advanced English proficiency.
