IT Support Engineer – Linux & Cloud Infrastructure

Location: Fort Washington, PA

Work Schedule: Onsite 4 days per week

Employment Type: Direct Hire

Salary: Up to $120k, flexibility depending on experience

We are seeking an experienced IT Support Engineer to join a growing technology organization in Fort Washington, PA. This is a customer-facing infrastructure position supporting complex Linux, cloud, and containerized environments. The ideal candidate combines strong technical troubleshooting skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients and manage issues through resolution.

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex Linux infrastructure and application issues
• Support cloud-based and containerized environments
• Work directly with customers to investigate technical problems and deliver solutions
• Assist with system deployments, upgrades, configuration, and ongoing maintenance
• Automate infrastructure and operational processes
• Collaborate with engineering, implementation, and customer-support teams
• Document technical issues, solutions, and best practices

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, systems engineering, or technical support
• Strong hands-on Linux administration experience
• Experience supporting cloud architecture and cloud-hosted environments
• Experience with Kubernetes and containerized applications
• Working knowledge of Git, Ansible, and Jenkins
• Experience with Terraform, OpenTofu, or similar infrastructure-as-code tools
• Strong troubleshooting and client-facing communication skills
• Ability to work onsite in Fort Washington four days per week
• U.S. citizenship required due to the nature of the client’s work
