Onsite Support Engineer
Key Responsibilities
- Provide on-site Level 1 technical support for desktops, laptops, and peripherals at the customer’s location.
- Deliver remote troubleshooting support via phone, email, or ticketing systems as required.
- Manage the IT asset lifecycle, including deployment, configuration, maintenance, and disposal coordination of hardware.
- Administer and support Microsoft Office 365 and Outlook, resolving user issues related to email, calendar, and collaboration tools.
- Set up, configure, and troubleshoot Audio/Visual (A/V) and video conferencing equipment for meetings and corporate events.
- Perform system installations, upgrades, and patching for Windows and macOS environments.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation in line with ITIL processes.
- Escalate complex issues to relevant teams or vendors, while retaining ownership of tickets through to resolution.
- Experience: 1–2 years of hands-on experience in desktop support, helpdesk, or similar technical role.
- Operating Systems:
- Proficiency in Windows and macOS
- Basic working knowledge of Linux is an advantage
- Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of desktop hardware and software configurations
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Office 365 and Outlook
- Familiarity with ITIL processes and service management practices
- Soft Skills:
- Strong communication skills in English and Korean (written and verbal)
- Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to support users at all levels
- Effective time management and multitasking in a fast-paced environment
- Problem Solving:
- Ability to diagnose issues logically and provide timely, effective solutions
- Shift: Office hours (9:00 AM – 6:00 PM)
- Working Days: Monday to Friday
- Location: Client site at Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul
