System Architecture Engineer-Korea

Job description:

• The System Architecture Engineer is a pivotal role within Quectel’s Automotive Product team.
• This position uniquely combines strategic system-level architecture responsibilities with hands-on software application engineering and customer technical support capabilities.
• lead the definition and evolution of Quectel’s automotive software platform, drive technology roadmaps, and provide direct technical support to key automotive customers (Tier1 and OEMs) throughout the Korea region.
• To bridge high-level system design with practical, on-the-ground customer issue resolution, ensuring both product excellence and customer project success.
• Proactively collaborate with R&D teams, product managers, sales, and customer project managers to deliver software development and support services that keep customer projects on schedule with the highest quality standards.

Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.

Experience: 5+ years in automotive software development, including system architecture and technical support.

Technical Skills:

• AUTOSAR (Classic/Adaptive), Automotive Linux, Android Automotive, or QNX.
• Connectivity tech: 5G, LTE, Telematics (TCU), V2X, C-V2X.
• Hands-on C, C++, and Python proficiency for embedded systems.

Soft Skills & Language:

• Fluent Korean and business-level English communication. Mandarin speaking will be added advantage.
• Strong customer-facing troubleshooting and relationship management skills.
