MCR Health is seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Technical Support Level II professional to provide advanced technical support for hardware, software, telecommunications, and network-related systems throughout the organization. This role serves as a key resource for diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues, supporting end users, installing and maintaining IT equipment, and ensuring reliable technology operations across multiple healthcare locations. The Technical Support Level II team member works closely with staff to deliver timely solutions, maintain system performance, and support organizational productivity through excellent customer service and technical expertise.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide Level II support for computer hardware, software applications, networking, telephony, fax, and voicemail systems.
- Troubleshoot, research, and resolve technical issues reported by end users.
- Respond to support requests via phone, email, and ticketing systems while ensuring timely resolution and follow-up.
- Install, configure, and maintain computers, printers, software applications, and other IT equipment.
- Perform telephone system administration, including user setup, voicemail management, and system reporting.
- Support software updates, security patches, and operating system maintenance.
- Assist with network connectivity troubleshooting and hardware deployment activities.
- Maintain accurate documentation of issues, resolutions, and technical procedures.
- Deliver exceptional customer service while supporting the mission and values of MCR Health.
Requirements
What you need to bring to this role:
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Associate degree in an Information Technology-related field or a minimum of three (3) years of relevant technical support experience required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications required.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Experience supporting Windows 10 and Windows 11 operating systems.
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365, Adobe applications, Citrix Client, Azure, and related business software.
- Experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting desktop hardware, software, printers, and peripheral devices.
- Working knowledge of networking concepts, including TCP/IP in LAN/WAN environments.
- Experience supporting telephony, voicemail, and communication systems preferred.
- Familiarity with remote support and utility tools such as VNC, Bomgar, Ghost, and antivirus software preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent verbal, written, and active listening skills.
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and manage competing demands in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work effectively with individuals of diverse backgrounds, personalities, and work styles.
- Flexible, adaptable, and capable of responding to changing business needs.
- CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), or other relevant IT certifications preferred.
- Healthcare IT support experience preferred.
