- You will integrate directly into our client's team and work alongside their existing designers and engineers on a daily basis.
- 5+ years of professional experience as an AI Engineer, Machine Learning Engineer, or Computer Vision Engineer.
- Advanced English is required.
- Successful completion of a four-year college degree is required.
- Proven hands-on experience designing and deploying computer vision models in production environments.
- Expertise in image classification, object detection, segmentation, tracking, or pose estimation, with a solid understanding of CNNs, transformers, and hybrid models.
- Proficiency with Python, PyTorch or TensorFlow, and vision libraries such as OpenCV, Detectron2, YOLO, or equivalent.
- Experience training, evaluating, and optimizing models for performance, accuracy, and scalability, including dataset curation, labeling strategies, data pipelines, and model evaluation metrics.
- Experience with GDAL, Rasterio, or similar image processing libraries.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Git, SQL, AWS, or MLOps tools for production ML deployments.
- Experience identifying and troubleshooting issues throughout model development, testing, and deployment.
- Ability to translate complex machine learning and computer vision concepts to non-technical stakeholders and write clear documentation.
- Experience with plant phenotyping, digital agriculture, biological imaging, or related domains is a nice to have.
- Portuguese language skill is a plus.
- Ability to work through new and difficult issues and contribute to libraries as needed.
- Ability to create and maintain continuous integration and delivery of applications.
- Forensic attention to detail.

- Experience working on Agile/Scrum teams.
- Meaningful experience working on large, complex systems.
