Tier 1 Batch Analyst — San Antonio, TX

Dunhill Government Solutions is hiring a Tier 1 Batch Analyst to support a federal civilian agency program in San Antonio, TX. This is an entry-level systems analyst role on a long-term program, working onsite with intermittent telework.

Responsibilities:

• Support the design and management of systems across the full lifecycle, from inception to phase-out.
• Support routine systems operations and the maintenance of infrastructure services.
• Install, configure, test and maintain operating systems, applications software and system management tools.
• Create scripts to automate internal workflows, increasing standardization and the efficiency of routine operations.
• Perform routine tests and document system issues.
• Support the day-to-day management and maintenance of infrastructure services, systems, applications and hardware usage.
• Support and take direction from senior technical staff to develop deployment specifications and configurations.
• Conduct technical evaluation, design and readiness reviews, and quality control.
• Provide analytical support in the conceptualization, development and implementation of robust, inter-linked systems.
• Support system design, analysis, interface verification, testing and mission operations under the direction of more experienced engineers.

Requirements:

• U.S. citizenship, and the ability to obtain and maintain a Tier 6 (High Risk) public trust investigation.
• Associate’s degree in information technology, computer science or another relevant field, or equivalent relevant experience. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 0 to 2 years of experience in systems engineering or systems analysis.
• Linux experience required.
• Knowledge of server operating systems, network fundamentals and architecture, and database applications.
• Ability to provision, install, configure, operate and maintain systems hardware and software and the related infrastructure.
• Ability to work with various programming languages, operating systems and computer hardware platforms.
• Ability to elicit, analyze, document and validate system requirements that support the changes needed to meet the business need.
• Excellent analytical, comprehension, communication, writing and interpersonal skills, with attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
• Ability to work under aggressive deadlines, manage multiple tasks and prioritize as necessary.
• Onsite in San Antonio, TX with intermittent telework. Travel is not required.

Compensation: $50,400 to $55,000 per year, full time, 40 hours per week.
