Quality Assurance Tester

Description:

Diversified Systems is searching for a Quality Assurance Tester. The successful candidate will be responsible for test planning, test design, and execution of testing activities across software systems. This role will perform quality assurance activities throughout the project lifecycle, including participation in reviews and demonstrations, functional testing, integration testing, user acceptance testing, performance testing, security testing, and defect reporting.

The Quality Assurance Tester will perform both manual and automated testing using industry-standard tools and technologies and may interact with customers to understand system requirements while participating in Agile/Scrum planning, goal setting, and retrospectives.

Responsibilities:

• Perform test planning, test design, and test execution for software systems.
• Conduct quality assurance activities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Participate in project reviews and demonstrations.
• Perform functional testing, integration testing, user acceptance testing, performance testing, and security testing.
• Identify, document, and report software defects to the development team.
• Perform both manual and automated testing using industry-standard tools and technologies.
• Interact with customers to understand system requirements.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum project planning, tasking, goal definition, and retrospectives.

• 4-6 years of testing experience required.
• Up-to-date knowledge of software test design and testing methodologies required.
• Working knowledge of test techniques using automation testing tools including Selenium, JMeter, Postman, Azure DevOps, and Git required.
• Experience testing cloud-based systems hosted in Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Salesforce required.
• Working knowledge of programming in C# and scripting languages required.
• Excellent communication and critical-thinking skills required.
• Good organizational skills and detail-oriented mindset required.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field preferred.
