Web & App Developer (Python/Flutter)

What we’re looking for

We’re seeking a Developer who can work across the full stack—web design, Python, Flutter, and Firebase—to ship product features end to end. You don’t need to know every detail on day one, but you should be able to learn quickly, collaborate effectively, and take ownership of results.

• Web design & front-end: experience building responsive, user-friendly interfaces (layout, component structure, and UI polish).
• Python: practical experience developing backend logic and integrating services via APIs.
• Flutter: experience building mobile UI and implementing navigation and state management.
• Firebase: hands-on experience with authentication and data features, and integrating Firebase into apps.
• Engineering habits: ability to write maintainable code, follow conventions, and troubleshoot issues methodically.
• Communication: clear, proactive communication with the team; you document decisions and share progress.
• Mindset: you take ownership, seek feedback, and focus on delivering working user value.

Projects

We are Routed Labs, Inc, building modern web and mobile experiences that connect users to working products through clean, responsive interfaces and reliable backend services. In this role, you will help develop and evolve features across our web and Flutter apps, using Python for server-side logic and Firebase for authentication, data, and real-time capabilities. Your work will focus on turning product requirements into well-structured UI, dependable APIs, and end-to-end integrations, so that our applications remain fast, secure, and easy to maintain as we grow.

What you’ll do

• You'll work for 4 hours per day/flexible.
• Design and build user-facing features with strong web design fundamentals (layouts, responsiveness, accessibility, and usability).
• Develop and maintain backend services and endpoints using Python, integrating with front-end and mobile clients.
• Build and improve Flutter screens and application flows, ensuring consistent UX across states and devices.
• Implement Firebase services such as authentication and data storage, and wire them into both web and mobile experiences.
• Collaborate with our product and engineering teams to translate requirements into technical tasks and deliver working increments.
• Write, review, and maintain code with clear structure, testing where applicable, and reliable error handling.
• Debug issues across the stack (UI, APIs, and Firebase integration) and propose practical fixes.

Nice to have
