- Position Type: Non-Exempt
- Location: Demgy Pacific, LLC, Tacoma WA
While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly is required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; balance; stoop; talk and hear. The employee will be required to routinely operate a motor vehicle and lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

- Follow the company’s Quality Management System and encourage others to do the same
- The primary job responsibility is to inspect job-specific product currently being produced, in real-time at the machine
- Utilize blueprint reading and specification interpretation skills to perform required inspections
- Use experience and judgment to select appropriate and efficient inspection and measurement techniques to perform:
- First part buy-off and in-process inspection of manufactured details and assemblies
- Final inspection and document review
- Document non-conformances for MRB in ERP system
- Control of Documents, External and Internal
- Assist with Internal Quality Audits
- Demonstrate excellent time management skills. Utilize all time saving methods personally developed or prescribed, by management when applicable
- Show concerted effort to improve knowledge and grow with the company's technology
- Follow the company's Quality Management System and guide others to do the same
- Work well with others and follow directions in a team environment under project leaders or supervisors
- Develop inspection procedures and methods, make setups, determine the deviation from blueprint or standard, and report results
- Assisting less experienced employees as required
- Uphold and comply with Demgy’s Code of Ethics and Conduct
- Follow safety policies
- Contribute to the success of the company’s environmental, health & safety program
- Maintain a positive working relationship with co-workers in all departments
- Maintain accurate documentation as required, following Demgy Pacific’s document and record control procedures as applicable to the position
- Ensure that housekeeping within the department is properly maintained.
- Follow Demgy 5S program (workstation organization/locations maintained)
- Follow policies outlined in the Employee Handbook
