About The Company

The tech space is crowded, but most solutions feel like they’re cut from the same cloth — missing the mark on what businesses truly need. Organizations are chasing innovation, but too often, it comes at the expense of flexibility, independence, and real technological depth. At Dawn Technologies is a niche company laser-focused on delivering specialized tech solutions in Gen AI, Data Engineering, and Backend Systems. What sets us apart is our commitment to the technologists — the creators, problem-solvers, and innovators who bring true value to transformation. We believe that teamwork plus talent equals exceptional results. We are looking for teammates who are great problem solvers and enjoy collaborating within a team to achieve big outcomes.

We are seeking an experienced Linux Solution Consultant with 8+ years of overall IT experience, including 3+ years in solution or platform consulting roles, with a strong understanding of VMware, KVM, and other enterprise virtualization platforms. The role requires leadership in solution architecture, platform integration, architecture governance, and stakeholder engagement, with the ability to design and support integrated virtualized solutions aligned to business, security, and operational requirements. The focus is on outcome‑driven delivery within regulated enterprise environments.

The primary responsibility is to design, deploy, manage, troubleshoot, and optimize Linux-based virtualized infrastructure for customers or internal enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Virtualization Administration
  • Manage KVM-based virtualization platforms using tools such as libvirt and virsh.
  • Provision and maintain virtual machines.
  • Perform workload migrations and capacity planning.
  • Support hybrid virtualization environments that may include VMware.
  • Linux Platform Management
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot enterprise Linux systems.
  • Manage kernel-related issues, systemd services, filesystems, and LVM.
  • Implement high availability and clustering solutions.
  • Ensure system performance, stability, and security.
  • Infrastructure Solution Design
  • Analyze customer requirements and recommend suitable infrastructure architectures.
  • Design compute, storage, network, and virtualization solutions.
  • Create deployment and migration strategies.
  • Storage Management
  • Configure and troubleshoot SAN/NAS environments.
  • Work with Fibre Channel (FC), iSCSI, and NFS storage technologies.
  • Ensure storage availability, performance, and redundancy.
  • Network Configuration and Troubleshooting
  • Manage VLANs, network bonding, routing, and TCP/IP connectivity.
  • Diagnose performance bottlenecks and network-related issues.
  • Collaborate with network and security teams.
  • Customer Support and Problem Resolution
  • Investigate complex technical issues.
  • Perform root cause analysis (RCA).
  • Provide recommendations and long-term fixes.
  • Communicate solutions effectively to customers and stakeholders.

Typical Day-to-Day Activities

  • Reviewing infrastructure health and performance.
  • Troubleshooting Linux, virtualization, storage, or network issues.
  • Assisting customers with migrations and deployments.
  • Conducting architecture reviews and solution discussions.
  • Implementing security and availability best practices.
  • Writing technical documentation and operational procedures.

In short, the role is focused on enterprise Linux virtualization and infrastructure, combining technical expertise (Linux, KVM, storage, networking) with customer-facing solutioning and troubleshooting responsibilities
