Overview

This programme involves working on major defence programmes and strategic operations where financial activities support some of the most complex and high-profile areas of the business. Participants will help teams make informed decisions and drive performance.

Programme Structure

This three-year programme consists of three 12-month placements designed to give you a comprehensive understanding of accountancy and finance. Participants will rotate through roles in project and financial accounting, gaining broad exposure to different areas of the business and developing a well-rounded skill set.

Support and Development

From day one, participants receive structured support and dedicated mentorship throughout the programme and beyond. You will join our Graduate Development Programme, with expert-led masterclasses on communication, personal branding, resilience, and wellbeing, along with pursuing the CIMA Professional Qualification.

Career Progression

After completing the programme, participants will move into a substantive role within Accountancy and Finance at Babcock, with further support to grow into more senior roles.

Application Requirements

You must have achieved, or be on track to achieve, a bachelor's or master's degree, and have a demonstrable interest in Finance, working with numbers, and solving problems. The programme requires Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) and Security Check (SC) security clearance.
