Cyber Security Engineer

Security Engineer (DV Cleared) - Cambridgeshire (Hybrid)

🔐We’re looking for DV-cleared Security Engineers to join a high-profile secure programme, working across complex Defence environments in Huntingdon Cambridgeshire.

You’ll work alongside a Security Engineering Lead and wider engineering teams to implement, maintain and improve security controls across critical systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain security tooling and technical controls
• Develop and maintain security baselines and secure configurations
• Assess vulnerabilities and implement effective risk mitigation
• Support SIEM, protective monitoring and security logging
• Work across Windows, Linux, virtualisation, networking and endpoint security
• Support security accreditation, testing and verification activities
• Produce technical/design documentation and security artefacts

Technical Experience

Experience across several of the following:

• Endpoint Protection, Malware Protection, Application Control & DLP
• SIEM / Protective Monitoring
• Firewalls, proxies, mail gateways and network security
• Windows & Linux security
• Virtualisation and hybrid cloud environments
• PKI, LDAP, SAML & authentication technologies
• CIS / NIST / MOD security requirements
• Secure system accreditation and security engineering

This is a great opportunity for a DV-cleared Security Engineer looking for a long-term contract working on complex, security-critical Defence systems.
