Technical Product Owner

The Technical Product Owner role centers on owning and driving product strategy with end-to-end responsibility from requirements to delivery. This position demands strong collaboration across technical and non-technical teams to ensure successful product outcomes.

YOUR TASKS

• You act as the bridge between business stakeholders, customers, architects, and development teams, ensuring that product decisions balance business value with technical feasibility.
• You gather, analyze, and refine both business and technical requirements, transforming them into clear user stories, technical specifications, acceptance criteria, and actionable backlog items.
• You own and continuously prioritize the product backlog.
• You participate in technical discussions and support decision-making related to system architecture, integrations, APIs, cloud platforms, data flows, and non-functional requirements.
• You manage dependencies and risks, ensuring transparent communication regarding priorities, scope, and delivery progress.
• You communicate clearly and comprehensively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Professional experience as a product owner, requirements engineer, or business analyst in agile software development.
• Previous experience as a software engineer, regardless of the field, such as backend, frontend, data, or similar.
• Comfortable discussing technical topics such as APIs, microservices, cloud environments, system architecture, security, performance, scalability, and operational considerations.
• Experience working in agile environments and practical experience with frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe.
• Curious about emerging technologies, digital trends, software architecture, AI, and modern product development practices.
• Strong communication skills coupled with the ability to make decisions.
• Team player with a problem-solving mindset.
• Business-fluent English.

• Acting as an architect or lead developer, as you will have a team to support you on that.
