Your role
- Learn, expand and optimize specific mechatronic, electronic and control-engineering concepts
- Contribute to the design and development of new systems
- Coordinate and document requirements with internal and adjacent specialist departments
- Define, delegate and independently develop solutions together with internal teams and external partners
- Integrate and verify developed solutions up to white-box level
- Support initial in-house commissioning and implement required changes at short notice
- Achieve series readiness and support the product life cycle in the event of technical issues
Your profile
- Completed university degree in a scientific or technical discipline, preferably control engineering, physics, mechatronics, applied computer science or a comparable field
- Several years of practical experience in embedded software development in bare-metal and Linux environments
- Experience with ARM-based systems-on-chip, hardware-related development and low-level protocols in C
- Sound knowledge of Linux, particularly socket programming, semaphores, interrupt handlers and memory-mapped I/O
- Confident use of coding guidelines and version-control systems such as Subversion and Git
- Constructive and creative collaboration with experts from different disciplines
- Fluent English and German skills at least at B2 level
