Your Tasks
- Assume overall strategic responsibility for a global OEM key account.
- Build and continuously strengthen trusted relationships with E1- and C-level stakeholders across the client organization.
- Develop and execute a global account strategy across regions, brands, and service domains.
- Identify, qualify, and convert growth opportunities, new business, and innovative business models.
- Lead complex international bid, proposal, and negotiation processes.
- Lead and coordinate an international account network across country organizations and business units.
- Collaborate closely with global account, project, and delivery organizations to ensure a consistent and aligned market presence.
- Establish and maintain professional governance for pipeline management, forecasting, deal prioritization, and escalation management.
- University degree in Automotive Engineering, Engineering, Computer Science, or a comparable field.
- Extensive experience in Executive Sales, Global Account Management, or Strategic Business Development within the Mercedes-Benz ecosystem.
- A strong and established personal client network across organizational and functional boundaries.
- Proven track record in developing complex international business opportunities and global account strategies.
- Strong executive presence and demonstrated ability to engage effectively at E1 and C-level, combined with the ability to align stakeholders and drive decisions across complex internal organizations.
- Excellent understanding of engineering services, matrix organizations, and international delivery structures.
- Entrepreneurial, credible, and confident leadership personality with strategic acumen and a strong track record of closing complex business opportunities.
- Business-fluent German and English, at a minimum of CEFR C1 level.
- Strong understanding of the client's future challenges, strategic priorities, and transformation agenda.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively in an international environment.
- Excellent understanding of automotive technology domains and value chains.
- Strong command of sales process management and governance.
- Ability to work effectively in international teams and manage client relationships across different cultural contexts, demonstrating a high degree of intercultural competence.
