About The Role
Infrastructure Applications is a team of seven engineers responsible for central infrastructure services and platforms within Tele2. We operate and develop business-critical systems used across the organization and are part of Mobile Core Network, responsible for ensuring stable and secure operation and development of Tele2's mobile network.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Operating, maintaining and developing Linux-based systems and infrastructure services
- Troubleshooting and problem solving in complex technical environments
- Automating recurring operational tasks and improving existing ways of working
- Lifecycle management, including patching, upgrades and platform maintenance
- Working with central services within areas such as DNS, logging and observability
- Participating in technical projects and contributing to knowledge sharing within the team
You are comfortable working both independently and as part of a team and enjoy an environment where multiple systems, platforms and technical dependencies interact.
We believe you have:
- Strong experience working with and operating Linux environments
- Experience from large-scale virtual and physical server environments
- Good understanding of networking and IT infrastructure
- Experience with scripting and automation
- Experience with programming or scripting languages such as Python, Go and/or C
- Understanding of lifecycle management, patching and system upgrades
- Good communication skills in English, both written and spoken
- DNS infrastructure

- Infrastructure within telecommunications
- Infrastructure automation
- Experience from highly available and business-critical infrastructure environments
