Indexed description

Work on the production infrastructure behind a global trading environment where latency, system behaviour and reliability have an immediate and measurable impact.

Based in Miami, you'll engineer the platform supporting latency-sensitive trading and market data systems, working across Linux internals, Python, networking, hardware and observability. You'll work closely with software engineers, traders and researchers to improve performance, automate infrastructure and solve complex production problems.

What You'll Work On

  • Build Python tooling and automation for provisioning, configuration, deployment and infrastructure lifecycle management
  • Engineer and tune Linux systems for latency-sensitive workloads
  • Investigate performance across CPU, memory, NUMA, storage and networking
  • Debug complex issues across hardware, OS, network and application layers
  • Build reusable tooling to automate operational workflows and reduce production risk
  • Improve observability through metrics, profiling, monitoring and alerting
  • Optimize infrastructure supporting live trading and market data systems
  • Identify and remove system and application performance bottlenecks
  • Improve the performance, reliability and automation of a global Linux environment

What We're Looking For

  • 4+ years of experience engineering Linux systems in demanding production environments
  • Strong Python development skills, with experience building infrastructure tooling, automation or internal platforms
  • Deep Linux knowledge across processes, memory, filesystems, system calls and performance analysis
  • Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, routing and network troubleshooting
  • Comfortable working close to server hardware and the operating system
  • Experience with monitoring, observability and production incident response
  • Strong systems troubleshooting skills, with the ability to investigate problems across multiple layers of the stack
  • Experience in trading, low-latency or other performance-critical environments is a plus
  • Authorized to work in the United States

The Opportunity

Work on infrastructure where performance improvements are visible in production and engineers are expected to understand systems deeply, not just keep them running.

You'll have ownership across design, automation, performance tuning and troubleshooting, with the scope to build Python tooling and dig into Linux, networking and hardware when solving problems. The environment is highly technical and collaborative, with direct exposure to software engineers, traders and researchers, plus an all-expenses-paid training program with engineering teams in Europe.

Benefits

  • Competitive base salary + top performance-based bonus
  • Equity potential for exceptional performers
  • Relocation support within the US
  • All-expenses-paid training program in Europe
  • Medical, dental and vision coverage
  • Catered meals
  • Regular team events and socials
