Help Desk Analyst

Akkodis is seeking an entry-level Help Desk Technician to join a collaborative IT team supporting a diverse user environment.

In this role, you'll provide first-line technical support, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, assist with user account management, and help deploy and maintain desktop technologies. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong customer service skills and a passion for technology to gain hands-on experience in a professional IT environment.

Pay Rate Range: $18.00/hour-20.00/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1 technical support for end users
• Troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, and software applications
• Manage password resets and user access requests
• Document and track incidents through a ticketing system
• Assist with device setup, deployment, and basic system administration
• Escalate complex issues when appropriate

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Basic knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office/Microsoft 365
• Interest in pursuing a career in IT
• Previous technical support, customer service, internship, or CompTIA A+ training is a plus
