Trident Consulting is seeking a "Senior Associate (Sr Developer)" for one of our client. A global leader in business and technology services.

Job title: Senior Software Engineer – C/C++

Role is hybrid (2 days/wk) based out of Atlanta, GA

Type: Only W2

Mandatory skills: C, Linux, C++

Job Description:

- Maintain, support and enhance a high throughput, distributed, real-time transaction processing application, written in the C programming language, running on the Linux platform, in a 24x7x365 production environment

- Design, develop, and maintain a CI/CD framework for the application - Isolate application defects effectively, as well as provide specific conditions for reproducibility

- Leverage production data to test how our systems perform

- Provide tactical and technical support on tasks

- Understand impact on adjacent systems as well as short

- and long-term impact of technical and/or functional decisions

- Develop effective tools and infrastructure to test complex, large-scale distributed systems

- Design and build tooling and infrastructure to help engineering teams measure and increase their velocity

- Ensure high-quality code is delivered that meets specifications and customer requirements

- Proactively identify opportunities to improve delivery of daily work

- Act as technical and/or functional point of contact for a project / subset of internal business systems projects

- Coach/mentor others in application, platform, and/or global architectural standards
