Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced L2 Structured Cabling Technician to support a short-term onsite infrastructure deployment in a warehouse environment. The technician will install, terminate, test, label, and manage CAT6 cabling and wireless access point (AP) cabling while following customer and site standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, route, dress, and secure CAT6 cabling throughout warehouse and office areas.
• Terminate and test network drops, patch panels, jacks, and related structured cabling components.
• Install and cable wireless access points (Client) using approved pathways and mounting locations.
• Perform cable testing and validation using Fluke or equivalent test equipment when required.
• Apply cable labels and maintain accurate port, drop, and pathway documentation.
• Use ladders, scissor lifts, or boom lifts safely and in accordance with site requirements.
• Troubleshoot failed drops, damaged cabling, and connectivity issues related to physical infrastructure.
• Maintain clean, professional cable management and comply with warehouse safety and PPE requirements.

• 2+ years of structured cabling, low-voltage, or network infrastructure installation experience.
• Hands-on experience with CAT5e/CAT6 cable pulling, termination, testing, and labeling.
• Experience installing and cabling wireless Client in warehouse, industrial, or large commercial environments.
• Previous scissor-lift and/or boom-lift experience; current operator training/certification preferred if required by the site.
• Ability to read cabling plans, floor layouts, and installation documentation.
• BICSI, Panduit, CommScope, Leviton, or similar manufacturer training/certifications are a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, safety awareness, and ability to work independently.
