Reporting to the Global IT Infrastructure Operations Leader - DC & Server Room operations, the Global IT Infrastructure Operations Specialist - DC & Server Room provides L2/L3 Operations support to ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of datacenter and server room operations, across Regions and Business Groups.
Main Responsibilities Include
DC and server room infrastructure operations management
- Provide L2/L3 support of Server and Datacenter infrastructures, as well as the provisioning, configuration, and deployment of physical and virtual servers.
- Manage the integration and operation of cloud services, ensuring seamless connectivity and performance.
- Implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
- Ensure the Implementation and uphold of IT standards, policies, and best practices defined at a Group Level
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for the Service Desk to limit the intervention of Level 2 support, improving efficiency and first-call resolution rates.
- Coordinate with Regional IT teams to provide support and expertise in datacenter, server management, cloud, and related IT domains.
- Assist regional teams in troubleshooting and resolving complex issues, ensuring consistent service delivery across regions.
- Coordinate with the Techpole to implement and ensure adherence to the standards defined by the Group.
- IT specialization or equivalent by experience.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in IT infrastructure management, with a focus on datacenter operations, server management, and cloud services.
- Knowledge in the exploitation, maintenance, administration, supervision and support of IT services.
- Good knowledge of datacenter infrastructure, and proficiency in managing and maintaining physical and virtual servers
- Experience with cloud platforms
- Knowledge of antivirus solutions, cybersecurity practices, and compliance requirements.
- Teamwork and effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to adapt to changing technologies and work environments.
