As a Sr. Information Security Analyst, you will serve as a subject matter expert, resolving complex access issues across diverse environments, facilitating internal and external audits, and ensuring the integrity and confidentiality of our information assets. You will balance daily operational access management tasks with project work and active participation in a 24/7 on-call rotation to guarantee reliable, around-the-clock system support. This is a subset of the overall responsibilities which include multiple initiatives as assigned by IT leadership.
This role is hybrid (Mon through Thu on-site / Fri remote) for candidates in the Kansas City metropolitan area and open to qualified remote candidates outside of the Kansas City area. However, the remote location must be within the US.
How You Will Spend Your Time
- Provide expertise in the field of IBM Security Server (RACF) Security.
- Identify and implement automated processes for monitoring and reports of security events.
- Provide expert-level guidance and oversight over Mainframe security, including audits, upgrades and patching.
- Assist in training and mentoring new Information Security Administrators and Analysts to ensure growth and success within the team.
- Identify, manage and update jobs and programs using Change Management Controls.
- Manage, maintain, and troubleshoot digital certificates across all UMB Mainframe environments
- Provide cross departmental support to ensure timely handling of incident response and audit efforts
- Respond in a timely manner to the loss or misuse of information assets.
- Research, evaluate, design, test, recommend, and plan implementation of new or improved security controls, information security software or devices.
- Review computer logs and messages to identify and report on possible violations of security.
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of all ServiceNow access requests related various applications across the enterprise.

- Effectively work independently or with a team in the development of security designs.
- Experience relating business requirements and risks to technology implementation for security-related issues.
- Successfully adapt to rapidly changing technology and apply it to business needs.
- Advanced knowledge of SOX, GLBA and PCI requirements including maintaining documentation relating audit reviews.
- Advanced knowledge of the configuration and use of Vanguard Administrator, Offline, Cleanup, Configuration Manager, Advisor and Analyzer system utilities.
- Working knowledge of multi-factor security functions, including analysis and troubleshooting of MFA users issues including, synchronization, lockouts, replacement and initial setup.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology.
- ISSA or ITIL certification.
Compensation Range
$98,208 - $144,705
