The L1 Data Center Technician (DC Tech) will provide hands-on onsite technical support within a data center environment. The technician will be responsible for hardware installation and troubleshooting, rack-and-stack activities, cabling, break/fix support, equipment deployments, inventory management, and ticket-based incident resolu

tion.

Responsibilities Of The L1 Data Center Technician (D

  Perform hands-on data center break/fix, hardware installation, deployment, and troubleshooting for servers, network equipment, storage devices, and related infrast
• ructure.Execute rack-and-stack activities, including equipment installation, removal, labeling, and physical conne
• ctivity.Install, trace, label, and troubleshoot copper and fiber cabling and network conn
• ections.Monitor and manage assigned tickets through ITSM/ticketing systems, ensuring incidents and service requests are completed within established procedures and ti
• melines.Diagnose and replace failed hardware components, including drives, power supplies, memory, network cards, and other server com
• ponents.Perform equipment inventory, asset tracking, documentation, and decommissioning act
• ivities.Apply basic networking and connectivity troubleshooting, including Ethernet, Wi-Fi, ports, and physical network conn
• ections.Follow established SOPs, runbooks, safety procedures, and escalation processes, documenting work performed and escalating issues when r

equired.
Required Experience/Skills for the L1 Data Center Technician (

• DC Tech):
  4–7 years of hands-on technical support, field services, hardware support, or data center e
• xperience.Experience troubleshooting servers, laptops/desktops, networking equipment, or other IT
• hardware.Strong hardware troubleshooting and break/f
• ix skills.Experience with rack-and-stack, equipment installation, cabling, or physical infrastructure support
• preferred.Basic understanding of networking, TCP/IP, Ethernet, ports, and Wi-Fi troubl
• eshooting.Ability to use ITSM/ticketing systems and accurately document techn
• ical work.Strong Windows troubleshooti
