Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Lagos for a Blockchain Tester. The Blockchain Tester will design, execute, and maintain test plans and test cases for blockchain-based applications, smart contracts, and supporting services. Daily tasks include functional, integration, and regression testing; identifying and documenting defects; and collaborating with developers to verify fixes and improve overall product quality. The role also involves performing security and performance testing, validating transaction flows, and ensuring compliance with internal standards and industry best practices. The Blockchain Tester will work closely with product managers and other stakeholders to refine requirements, support release cycles, and contribute to test automation efforts.
Qualifications

• Strong understanding of blockchain concepts, smart contracts, and distributed ledger technologies.
• Experience with software testing practices, including functional, integration, regression, and performance testing.
• Familiarity with test automation tools and frameworks, version control systems, and issue-tracking platforms.
• Ability to analyze complex technical specifications, write clear test cases, and produce accurate test documentation.
• Solid problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a methodical approach to identifying and reproducing defects.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams on-site in Lagos.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with security testing, smart contract auditing, or fintech/blockchain projects is an advantage.
