Role Description The Audi Service Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in Union City, GA. The technician is responsible for performing routine maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid checks, following Audi and dealership guidelines. Day-to-day tasks include diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, completing repairs, and documenting all work performed in repair orders with accuracy and detail. The role involves using diagnostic equipment, specialized tools, and technical manuals to ensure vehicles meet safety and performance standards. The technician collaborates with service advisors and other team members to communicate repair needs, provide status updates, and support an efficient, customer-focused service process. The position also requires adherence to all safety procedures, maintaining a clean and organized work area, and participating in ongoing training to stay current with Audi technology and repair methods.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated proficiency in automotive diagnostics, maintenance, and repair, preferably with German or luxury vehicles.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical service information, wiring diagrams, and repair manuals.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship, including accurate documentation of services performed.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with service advisors, parts staff, and fellow technicians.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to operate manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
  • Completion of automotive training program, manufacturer training, or ASE certifications is highly beneficial; Audi-specific certification is a plus.
  • Comfort working with diagnostic tools, scan equipment, and computer-based service systems.
  • Capability to work in a fast-paced, physically active environment, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
