DevOps Engineer

DevOps Engineer | Contract | Lithuania / Remote

Looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join a technology team working on modernisation, platform engineering and infrastructure migration projects.

This is a hands-on role where you’ll work closely with software engineering teams, helping migrate workloads from legacy environments to modern, supported platforms while improving automation, reliability and infrastructure.

What you’ll be doing:

• Working closely with development teams to understand applications, workloads and runtime environments
• Driving and supporting infrastructure and platform migrations
• Migrating workloads from legacy/unsupported environments to modern platforms
• Working with Linux-based infrastructure
• Automating infrastructure provisioning and configuration with Terraform & Ansible
• Developing automation and tooling with Python
• Working with Kubernetes and containerised workloads
• Troubleshooting infrastructure, platform and application runtime issues
• Improving the reliability, maintainability and efficiency of engineering environments

What we’re looking for:

• 3+ years of professional experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering or a similar infrastructure-focused role
• Strong hands-on Linux experience
• Practical experience with Terraform and Ansible
• Good Python skills, particularly for automation and tooling
• Experience with Kubernetes and containerised workloads
• Good understanding of software applications, configuration and runtime environments

Nice to have:

• Infrastructure/platform migration experience
• Apache Airflow experience
• Previous software development experience

Rate: €40/hour

Location: Vilnius / Remote

Contract: Rolling contract until the end of 2026, with a possibility to extend
