The Opportunity:

Due to continued expansion, we are now recruiting for an Accounts Assistant, to join our experienced Finance team on a permanent basis.

Office Location: Millennium Park, Naas, Co Kildare

Hybrid Working: 4 days in the office and 1 day from home (Please note the role will require 5 days a week in the office during the initial training period)


Key Responsibilities:

  • Processing and issuing sales invoices to customers globally
  • Managing all necessary documentation relating to each invoice from start to finish, including obtaining staff timesheets, travel and employee expenses and any other ad hoc paperwork required
  • Managing customer accounts, including processing customer statements and following up on outstanding balances owed
  • Developing and managing a strong rapport with our customer's accounts teams
  • Processing and managing accounting entries into the accounting system including invoices, receipts, allocations and reconciliations
  • Overseeing the accounts and invoicing inboxes to support daily entries
  • Supporting our finance team with accounts payable, including purchase transactions, travel and employee expenses and contractor invoices if and when required.
  • Supporting bank entries and reconciling bank accounts as required
  • Working collaboratively with the OFS Operations Team in checking, controlling and verify all staff timesheets, travel and employee expenses and any other ad hoc paperwork
  • Assisting the wider finance team and providing project support to the Operations Department on finance related matters.
  • Supporting internal and external audits and contributing to continuous improvement of financial systems and procedures.


Requirements:


The ideal candidate for this opportunity, will have the following:


  • Proven experience in an Accounts Assistant, Accounts Receivable or Bookkeeping role
  • Full working rights in Ireland at the time of application
  • Have completed a recognised bookkeeping qualification (or working towards one)
  • High attention to detail and a thorough approach
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills, and the ability to prioritize effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with IT systems; experience in a multi-currency environment is an advantage.
  • Ability to work independently and adapt in a fast-paced setting.
