You’ll work across Linux platforms, networks, security controls and core services in data centres, cloud environments and international offices. The role combines deep troubleshooting with the design and integration of reliable infrastructure.
The Role
- Design, integrate and maintain operating-system and infrastructure services, with a particular focus on Linux.
- Contribute to global networks, core network services and security infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments.
- Improve the security framework of a large-scale, fast-moving production platform.
- Diagnose complex host and network issues using tracing and other diagnostic tools.
- Work with colleagues across a global engineering team and partner departments.
- At least ten years of comparable infrastructure engineering experience, including development work in Python.
- Deep knowledge of Linux operating systems and configuration-management tooling.
- Strong host- and network-level troubleshooting skills.
- Familiarity with automated builds, software deployment and CI/CD systems.
- Clear communication and the ability to collaborate across disciplines and locations.
- Rust, Java, C, Go or C#.
- DNS, DHCP, Kerberos, network protocols, information security, databases, large-scale storage or Windows/Linux interoperability.
