About this position: Finance Manager Location – Lexington, KY

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Supervise and train Accounting Clerk III position
- Financial tracking of awarded contract funding
- Review of daily Accounts Payable Data entries
- Process Request for Travel Authorization forms and employee advances for travel
- Track Government spending by team type
- Daily funding balance calculations for Government
- Purchasing/Financial activity based on vendor classification
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point)
- Financial IPR support
- Research and resolution of vendor statements and inquiries
- Report reviews – open documents, EDD reports, service contracts, open Purchase Orders
- Credit card statement processing
- Daily interaction with Procurement and Government Contracting Officer Representatives
- Other duties as assigned
- Education Requirements: Associate Degree or Higher
- Level of Experience Requirements: 5+ years
- Experience in Microsoft Office, Data Entry, and Verification of Reports and Data
- Analytical and creative problem solving
- Ability to work in a team environment and assist where needed. Ability to cross train.
- Accounts Payable experience
- Ability to work independently or with minimal supervision, relying heavily on prior professional experience and knowledge of local and federal regulations.
- Ability to work as part of a dedicated team of professionals in a dynamic environment.
- Ability to communicate both orally and written with internal and external clients and co-workers.
- Ability to follow direction a must.
- Determine the kind of tools and equipment needed to complete each task assignment.
- Must be comfortable with high intensity work environment.
- Must be able to read, understand and communicate effectively and clearly the English language.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Ability to access warehouse for research and/or inventory duties.
- Accredited degree in business or management. Associates degree or higher.
- Experience using Purchase Order and Billing systems
- Knowledge of Government Funding and Billing
- Prior Management experience
- This position will have supervisory responsibilities.
- This position is not subject to federal requirements regarding Department of Transportation “safety-sensitive” functions.
The employee is regularly required to hear, talk, sit and use a keyboard and phone. The employee may be occasionally required to reach and lift, handle, or move objects weighing up to 40 pounds.

The work environment is an office setting, where employees should be familiar with common office equipment such as printers, copiers, and fax machines. Work is mostly performed from a sedentary posture.
Physical Setting: Office
Schedule and Flexibility: Monday – Friday, 7:00a-3:30p EST
Additional Qualifying Factors
As a condition of employment, you will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening and have acceptable background check results. If applicable to the contract, you must also obtain and maintain the appropriate clearance levels required and must also be able to obtain access to military installations.
