Project Management Consultant - Associate

Project Management Consultant – Associate #1017661

Location: Juno Beach, FL 33408

Duration: 12 Months – (with possibility of Extension/FTE Conversion)

Responsibilities

• Coordinate internal and external resources supporting BESS projects from early-stage development through construction handoff.
• Coordinate Development, Engineering, Estimating, Supply Chain, Scheduling, Construction, Environmental, Regulatory, Land, and Interconnection activities.
• Develop project technical scope and optimize technical and financial feasibility.
• Support PPA and GIA negotiations.
• Support financial modeling, cost estimating, and executive budget approvals.
• Source, negotiate, and execute contracts for engineering, geotechnical, survey, and EPC/PC services.
• Present project progress, risks, and mitigation strategies to management and stakeholders.
• Ensure projects are ready for successful handoff to Construction.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong project management and coordination skills.
• Excellent communication, analytical, financial, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience managing multiple stakeholders and project activities.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Qualifications

• Renewable energy or BESS experience.
• Electricity markets experience.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• PMP certification.
• Financial modeling and cost estimating experience.
• PPA/GIA experience.
• EPC/PC contracting and vendor negotiation experience.
• Engineering/construction experience.

Occasional travel to project locations and public hearings is required.
